Audio and video to text
Speech tools are cloud jobs except live dictation, which uses the browser speech service. Pick the app that matches the media you already have.
Recordings
Audio to text accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, and similar. Video to text pulls speech from a video file. Both give TXT, SRT, and VTT on the dashboard so you can read the transcript or drop captions into an editor.
Podcast transcriber is for multi-speaker shows when you want clearer turns between voices. Longer files take more queue time; email notify helps if you leave the page.
After the transcript
Translation and summarizer take an existing job or upload when you need another language or a shorter set of points. They do not replace the original recording; they work from text already produced or supplied.
Live dictation captures the microphone in the browser; that audio is not stored by ProLampx Tools, though the browser vendor’s speech service may process it. Use it for notes, not for a permanent archive of the recording.
Privacy and retention
Cloud speech jobs upload once. After processing we delete the original media. Transcript downloads stay on your dashboard until they expire (typically 30 days) or you delete the job.
