About ProLampx Tools

What this site is

ProLampx Tools is a collection of practical utilities for audio, video, PDF, images, and small text jobs. The goal is simple: finish a file task in the browser when that is enough, and use a cloud worker only when the job needs encoding, speech recognition, or similar server work.

People use it to merge contracts, shrink photos for email, cut a clip for social, transcribe a meeting, convert a scanned PDF with OCR, or run guest utilities like case conversion and Base64 without installing desktop software.

How-to text and FAQs on every app page stay readable without an account so you can decide whether the tool fits before you run anything.

How processing works

Instant apps (most PDF and image tools, plus text, encode, and security utilities) never upload your file. The work happens in this tab and is discarded when you leave or reload.

Cloud apps (transcription, most video jobs, OCR, PDF to PowerPoint, compress PDF, photo background removal) upload the file so we can process it. Originals are removed after processing. Downloads stay on your dashboard until they expire — typically 30 days — then we delete them. You can delete a job sooner.

That split is intentional. Sensitive paperwork can stay on the device. Heavy media can use a worker without freezing the browser tab.

Guest utilities vs signed-in apps

Text, encode, and security utilities are free to use without signing in. They are small, local helpers: case conversion, word counts, JSON formatting, Base64, URL encode, hashes, UUIDs, and password generation.

Cloud file apps need an account so the job can attach to your dashboard, show progress, and keep a download window you control. Instant PDF and image tools also use the signed-in workspace today so your session stays consistent across the product.

Quality and maintenance

We maintain the catalog, learn guides, privacy wording, and support paths as a living product. Category hubs explain when to open which app. Learn articles cover in-browser vs cloud, retention, PDF, images, and transcription.
